Who We Are

The Duncan Family Trust was created on March 23, 2004, as a way for the Duncan family to give back to the communities that help contribute to Duncan Aviation’s ongoing success.

Duncan Aviation is the largest family-owned business aircraft support facility in world, employing more than 2,000 aviation enthusiasts with major service centers in Lincoln, Nebraska, Battle Creek, Michigan, Provo, Utah and 21 satellite avionics locations across the United States.

The trust distributes funds to enhance the quality of education, create positive change in the community and increase awareness and interest in the aviation industry.

Mission & Values

The mission of the Duncan Family Trust is to enhance the quality of education, create positive change in the community, increase awareness and interest in the aviation industry and support the arts in Lincoln, Nebraska, Battle Creek, Michigan, and Provo, Utah.

The Duncan Family Trust is based on many of the same values that Donald Duncan instilled in Duncan Aviation when it was established in 1956. Chairman Todd Duncan carries on those values today, which include: honesty, integrity, loyalty and trust, as well as a commitment to focusing on solutions rather than problems and leading through action.

Funds distributed through the Duncan Family Trust center around a vision of life-long learning by exposure to different ideas and cultures. The trust distributes funds and empowers people in the community in order to work toward our vision in a collaborative effort.
