Mike Cox Internship Scholarship

This scholarship was created in honor of the late Mike Cox, former Vice President at Duncan Aviation, whose leadership and commitment to mentoring left a lasting impact on our team. It continues his legacy by supporting students at accredited institutions who embody the same passion for growth, excellence, and mentorship that Mike championed throughout his career.

“It means a great deal to be recognized as one of the scholarship recipients this year. My internship experience at Duncan Aviation has been truly rewarding. There was no shortage of learning, and the positive environment at work made it easy to give my best every day. I am extremely grateful for this experience, as well as the encouragement and support from my team and the company, and I will carry that with me far beyond this summer.” — Iram Rai, Lincoln Accessory – Landing Gear
“Receiving the Mike Cox internship scholarship is an incredible honor and something I am truly grateful for. As a first-generation college student, this recognition means more than words can express. From a young age, I knew this was what I wanted to do. Aviation in general has always been my passion. To be pursuing what I’ve always dreamed of and to be recognized for It in this way makes all the hard work, sacrifice, and late nights feel worth it. This scholarship not only supports my journey, but it also gives me motivation to keep going and continue learning.” – Isabella Petkoski, Battle Creek Airframe Structures
